The basics

What is TRX suspension training?

TRX Suspension Training uses your own bodyweight and gravity to build strength, mobility and core stability. Every exercise scales instantly by changing your body angle, so the same strap works for a first-timer and an elite athlete.

Our free calculators take the guesswork out of setup, load and progression.

Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

TRX stands for Total Body Resistance Exercise. It was invented by Navy SEAL Randy Hetrick, who wanted to keep himself and his team in peak condition while deployed overseas, often in small spaces with little room to move. And so the TRX was born.

A TRX workout is a dynamic workout that uses your own bodyweight and gravity for resistance. Almost every movement works your total body while demanding real core engagement.

Yes. Training with a suspension trainer challenges your body and breaks down muscle fibres, which your body then rebuilds bigger. You also gain joint stability, helping your muscles grow over time.

The TRX comes with indoor and outdoor solutions in the box. The door anchor sets up in seconds on a solid door, or use a sturdy tree branch or overhead beam outdoors with the included suspension anchor.
